PRIVATE LESSON PROGRAMS
Beginning Riders:
This five-day a week training program uses lesson horses for up to three months to give the new rider a solid foundation in the fundamentals of riding. Lessons are given at Coker Farm in Bedford, NY. Lesson horses are available for clients who don't yet have their own horse. At around three months of training, Tammy will use her extensive experience and knowledge of the horse world to help find the best horse for the rider, consistent with their long-term goals. Whether a client buys or leases their horse, the rider and horse can now begin to truly work as a team and increase their consistency and skills in a way that isn't possible with lesson horses. |
Lesson Programs For Equitation, Hunters, and Jumpers:
This five-day a week lesson program is for riders of any age or skill level who want to become involved in a dedicated training program, with goals ranging from successful showing to qualifying for "Indoors".
The training focuses on the individual strengths of the rider and the horse in order to bring them together into a truly successful team.
Tammy can provide lesson horses for new students for up to two months, after which the rider must be able to buy or lease their own horse in order to be able to progress into the higher levels of skill that can only be attained working consistently with the same horse. One of her favorite things to do is matching riders with new horses. Lessons are available at Coker Farm in Bedford, NY.

Riding At The Farm: This program is for riders who lease or own their horse, and want to enjoy a more relaxed riding program at the farm rather than an intensive show-based program. This five-day a week program balances a consistent training schedule at Coker Farm with a purposeful path for continuing to improve in the fundamentals of flat-work and jumping, where our relationship allows us to move at a pace that is comfortable for you while still sharpening your skills. This program also allows us to prepare for shows if you do want to compete! |
